The ONOC President Baklai Temengil hosted the first ONOC Presidents’ Zoom Call on Thursday, marking the beginning of a new regular engagement platform for the Oceania National Olympic Committees (NOCs).

Call to Action for Oceania NOC Leaders

“Your perspectives and feedback are key to the work we are doing. Together, we can make impact, deliver change, and drive progressive transformation through sport – this is our Oceania One Team,” President Temengil emphasized.

“You are the Presidents, and we must work together. I expect you, as leaders of your NOCs, to share what matters most in the context of your work and our services, so that we can better serve our youth, athletes, and communities,” she added.

President Temengil also acknowledged the commitment of NOC Presidents:

“I thank you for your commitment and leadership in taking actions, decisions, and authority to guide your teams and national federations in meeting the needs of our athletes and strengthening the services we provide for them.

Our athletes are the heart of all that we do – and the collective collaboration and coordination between ONOC and our NOCs is the lifeblood that supports them.”
