The Oceania National Olympic Committees (ONOC) organized a Best Practice Symposium leading up to its Annual General Assembly on Saturday 16, March 2019.

Representatives were from 17 National OlympicCommittees (ONOC Members) including International Olympic Committee representatives, regional sporting bodies and partners.

A total of 180 Delegates registered for the symposium.  The week-long comprehensive program was packed with knowledge sharing of the latest developments, challenges and innovation in regional and international sporting landscape.

The Symposium provided a platform for all delegates to explore and discuss contemporary issues across the sector including governance and integrity, financial compliance, strengthening Olympic systems and processes, sports education and high performance.

During the symposium, presentations were delivered by industry experts, International Olympic Committee(IOC), and National Olympic Committees’ sharing best practice.

To complement the stellar line up of presenters, the participants will hear from key note speaker Dr. Flip Flippen, Founder and Chairman of the Flippen Group.

The Best Practice Symposium continues tomorrow Friday 15 March and will culminate with the XXXIX Annual General Assembly 2019 at 9am on Saturday 16 March.
