The 2025 Pacific Mini Games in Palau is offering a global platform for Pacific athletes through a collaboration between the Palau National Olympic Committee, ONOC and ANOC.TV - ensuring their stories reach audiences far beyond the islands.
Koror, Palau - Through a comprehensive digital media campaign and broadcast production, ANOC TV is bringing the Games to life in real time and on demand, while capturing the heart and spirit of Oceania’s sporting community.
Global Reach and Engagement
From the opening ceremony to individual athlete features, ANOC TV content continues to resonate across platforms and for statistics for now include:
These interim figures, recorded halfway through the Games, represent a significant step forward in terms of global visibility for Pacific athletes and teams, with 44 different content publishers involved, including 20 National Olympic Committees, three federations and several media outlets. A detailed impact report will be produced at the end of the campaign.
Athlete-Centered Storytelling
ANOC TV has so far produced over 150 athlete-focused videos and captured more than 1,700 photos, showcasing the personal journeys, triumphs, and cultural pride of over 50 athletes. The studio project served not only as Games coverage but also as a powerful storytelling initiative highlighting the human side of sport.
“From Oceania to the World – On the Road to LA28”
As part of a broader legacy initiative, ANOC TV has also launched a documentary series from Palau titled From Oceania to the World – On the Road to LA28. Filmed during the Games, the first two episodes — “Meet the Dreamers” and “Testing the Waters” follow the lives of athletes from remote Pacific islands as they prepare for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. This inspiring 6-part series aims to amplify Pacific voices on the global Olympic stage.
A true team effort
Led by a dedicated team of videographers, editors, photographers, and remote coordinators, ANOC TV worked in close collaboration with the Local Organising Committee, ONOC, and regional partners to deliver a cohesive and far-reaching digital campaign. Their content was featured on the Games’ official social media platforms and distributed via the ANOC Digital Content Hub to NOCs, federations, athletes, and media partners.
