43rd ONOC General Assembly, 2023

The ONOC membership and stakeholders meet for its 43rd Annual General Assembly (AGA) from 17 to 21 April.

The ONOC 42rd AGA takes place in Brisbane (AUSTRALIA) in a hybrid format incorporating in-person and virtual online attendance.    
The Assembly will be presided over by Dr. Robin Mitchell (FIJ), President of ONOC. Baklai Temengil (PLW) is the ONOC Vice-President. 


The Oceania (Continental Programmes) Olympic Solidarity Programme and the Oceania Sport Education Programme (OSEP) are two important programmes that table reports at the ONOC General Assembly, which also examines and passes budgetary and financial reports. Reports are also sent to the ONOC General Assembly from the different ONOC Commissions as well as partners and stakeholders.

“STEP UP OCEANIA” CONFERENCE

The conference, which is a part of "Creating the Home Games Advantage," will bring together significant players from the Pacific Islands, Australia, and New Zealand in an effort to improve Oceania's athletic achievements in preparation for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.


OCEANIA SPORT & SDGs STRATEGIC PARTNERS’ FORUM

In an effort to advance social, economic, and environmental development throughout Oceania, this forum is being organised in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Olympic Solidarity.


OLYMPIC SOLIDARITY WORKSHOP


A series of workshops on various subjects relating to Olympic Movement governance, administration, marketing, and development will be presented by ONOC in collaboration with Olympic Solidarity.

For NOCs and other stakeholders, these workshops will offer useful advice and tools to improve their capabilities and performance.


OLYMPIC MARKETING SEMINAR

The Olympic Marketing Seminar will cover marketing updates for NOCs and opportunities leading up to the 2032 Games in Brisbane.


ONOC MARKETPLACE

The ONOC Marketplace will include ONOC programmes and partners from the business and sporting industries.


ONOC ANNUAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The General Assembly will be the week’s trademark event, with documents being shared with delegates leading up to the AGA. The documents will also be accessible online.
