The ONOC Membership will meet for its 44th Annual General Assembly (AGA) from 20 to 27 March in Nadi, Fiji.
The AGA will take place in a hybrid format incorporating in-person and virtual online attendance.
Chaired by President Robin Mitchell (FIJ) and Vice-President Baklai Temengil (PLW), the AGA serves as the highest governing body of ONOC, bringing together member NOCs, Executive Board members, and representatives from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), various IOC Commissions, and Organising Committees of Olympic Games (OCOGs).
Under the ONOC Articles of Association, an Ordinary General Assembly must be held every year.
The ONOC General Assembly also reviews and approves budgetary and financial reports, and receives programme reports, key ones being the Oceania (Continental Programmes) Olympic Solidarity Programme and the Oceania Sport Education Programme. The ONOC General Assembly also receives reports from the various ONOC Commissions as well from stakeholders and partners.
The General Assembly continues to ensure that athletes remain at the heart of the Olympic Movement in Oceania and that sport and physical activity are promoted in the Continent.
